As a CNC Machinist II (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), you’ll be responsible for machining high-quality parts, reading and following technical drawings and 3D CAD models, inspecting and documenting manufactured parts, ensuring machinery is in good working order, performing machine set-ups for part manufacturing, and adhering to all safety standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required, Associates Degree in Machining Technology strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years MasterCAM programming experience.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience as a CNC Machinist, working with high-precision parts and assemblies.
  • Proficiency in equipment troubleshooting, CNC tooling, experience with SolidWorks, and machine setups for production runs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Cut raw material to size for single or multiple parts.

Program Vertical Mill CNC machines on MasterCAM software.

Setup parts and Vertical Mill CNC Machines for machining parts.

Program CNC Lathe on MasterCAM Software and operate CNC Lathe

Operating CNC machines.

Removing parts and verifying parts match prints.

Cleaning parts and packaging.
